Most people who are not seeing results when taking L-carnitine supplements may not be taking a sufficient amount. Literature describes effective doses from 1 to 3 grams of L-carnitine. One Italian study showed that 78% of men had improvement in sperm count and motility with 3 grams of L-carnitine daily. (1 tsp or 5 capsules).

Suggestion 1

Start with 2 capsules daily and after 1 week if you don’t notice an improvement in exercise performance and brain function then increase to 4.

Suggestion 2

Take up to 5 capsules per day if sperm tests suggest a need to improve sperm motility (the quality of movement) and production.
